Clinical Advisor & Health Partner, ACC, NZ Launa is a physiotherapist with a background in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, and in community-based pain management. Over the past 18 months, Launa has expanded her ACC role to include that of Health Partner, building on over a decade of work supporting ACC’s front line services as a Clinical Advisor.
Launa’s role as a Health Partner for ACC involves facilitating engagement with several professional groups, including the NZ Pain Society, the ANZCA Faculty of Pain Medicine, the NZ Society of Anaesthetists, and the Specialist Pain Medicine Physicians of Aotearoa NZ. As an ACC Health Partner Launa also supports ACC’s involvement with contracted providers in the pain space, as well as being involved in project work with a pain management focus. |
